National Open Youth Orchestra live!

See one of the most inspiring concerts of the summer at 3PM on Thursday 30 July in Cardiff at BBC Hoddinott Hall (level 2 of Wales Millennium Centre).

The National Open Youth Orchestra (NOYO) joins guest players from BBC National Orchestra of Wales for a joyful, high-energy concert that celebrates music without limits.

Experience a thrilling mix of strings, brass, harp, accordion and electronic instruments in music ranging from Vivaldi and Florence Price to brand-new works, including Michael Betteridge's Soaring Through Sparks, featuring soloist Alessandro Vazzana performing on the groundbreaking Clarion instrument using head movement.

Under the theme #ThisIsOurOrchestra, this inspiring relaxed performance is designed for everyone, including disabled and neurodivergent audiences and families. Arrive early to try the accessible Clarion instrument for yourself before the concert begins!
